This year I am co-director of SLO NightWriters 24th Annual Writing Contest. It's an exciting event. We've recruited an impressive gaggle of screeners and judges- editors, laureates, published authors, teachers and book store owners. We've increased our prize money this year and advertised widely with writing groups all over the internet. Winners may have an opportunity to have their entries published in San Luis Obispo's Tolosa Press newspapers.

First Line or Theme: A Perfect Storm

Poetry - 40 line max
